Johnny "Patch" Ray Murray, 46, of North River, passed away Friday November 18, 2016 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Pastor Terria George officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his mom and dad, Rose and Winston Murrell of North River; step-mom, Joyce Smith of North River; son, Adrian Murray of North River; four brothers, Jerralin Murray of Loganville, GA; Winston Murrell Jr. of Havelock; Wendell Murrell of Beaufort; Don Smith Jr. of New Bern; two sisters, Deirdra Tyson of Greensboro; Daphne Murrell Olds of Beaufort.
