Obituary Johnny Ray Gillikin, 61, of Jacksonville, formerly of Otway, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at Carolina Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, NC. He was a lifelong member of Otway Christian Church. The family will celebrate his life at a later date. Johnny Ray is survived by his daughter, Amy Danielle Gillikin of Newport; father, Berkley R. Gillikin Sr of Otway; brother, BJ Gillikin and his wife Wendy of Otway; sister, Etta G. Willis and her husband Rusty of New Bern; grandchildren, Aiden G. Huffman; Billy R. Gibby III; and Rylee E. Gibby; nieces, Laura Ashley Willis; and Sarah Elizabeth Willis; aunt, Matilda Gillikin; and numerous cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Fay Gillikin; and stepmother, Mary Elza Gillikin.
