Obituary Joseph Hill, 64, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Carolina East Hospital. Joseph James Hill Jr. (Josey) was born April 7, 1956 to Joseph & Mable Hill of the Adams Creek Community. He entered into eternal rest on August 25, 2020 at Carolina East Medical Center. At a young age, his parents moved the family to New Jersey. Josey attended the Monmouth County School System. Josey loved having a good time. Everyone who knew him, loved him. He took pride in looking good by being the best dressed with his collection of watches and hats. He also made sure to keep his car clean and looking nice. Josey received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church under the leadership of Dr. M. Luther Hill. A Grave side service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 6, 2020 in the Zion Temple AME Zion Church Cemetery, 5505 Adams Creek Rd. Havelock, NC. Services will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Laticia Hill-Godette, York Memorial AME Zion Church, Greenville, NC. He leaves to cherish his memories his Bonus Children; Antwan Young of Asbury Park, NJ, Jermaine Young of USN, Tina Beach of Havelock, NC and 6 grandchildren Maijoi Young, Ammorae Young, Amalah Young of Asbury Park, NJ, Timiya Beach, Zion Beach, Jayda Beach of Havelock, NC and two great grandchildren; Jayceiona Beach and Koriella Beach. Two brothers, Douglas Farrow & Alfred Hill of Havelock, NC; Six sisters, Sheila Norris of Raleigh, NC, Melvina Hill of Springlake, NC, Sharon Hill, Darlene Hill, Laurie Hill Massey & Roxanne Lathon of Havelock, NC; four aunts, Phyllis Padgette, Havelock NC, Mary Ellen Thompson, Neptune NJ, Eunice Medler Neptune, NJ, & Alvina Thompson Tallahassee FL, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Mable Hill, his brother Moses Farrow, and sister Patricia Hill.
