Obituary Josh James Styron, 36, of Atlantic, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 in Morehead City. Josh loved anything to do with the water, whether it was sport fishing, commercial fishing or hanging out on the beach. Josh enjoyed riding his scooter, cooking, earthy things, and never turned down the opportunity to start up a conversation with a pretty woman. He was a good man that loved his family and they loved him. The family will announce a celebration of Joshs life at a later date. He is survived by his siblings, Brandon Styron and wife Angelica of Atlantic; Lillian Larka and companion Katie Roseblock of Wilmington; Erik Larka of Smyrna; nephew, Chance Styron; aunts, Helen Thomas and husband TJ of Delaware; Wanda Behan and husband Joe of Atlantic; Julie Walton and husband Buddy of Smyrna; uncles, Charles Hill and wife Rose Styron of Stacy; David Styron and wife Dwayna of Straits; Allen Styron of Cedar Island; cousins, Shannon Casey and husband Steven of Morehead City; Alicia Taylor of Atlantic; Phillip Lynch of Atlantic; Robert Barringer of Morehead City; Jillian Reels and husband Dishawn of Cedar Island; Milton Styron Jr. and wife Denise Elliot of California; Stephanie Wilson and husband Jason of Smyrna; good friends, James Myrick; Rusty Millhimes; as well as several other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wendy Taylor; father, John Edward Styron; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Faye Hill and Charles Hill; paternal grandparents, Luke and Iris Styron; uncle, Milton "Mickey" Styron Sr.; and aunt, Tammie Styron.
