June Franklin Wells Sr.

June Wells, 76, of Newport, passed away Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Mr. Wells worked his entire career at City Upholstery of Havelock. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Pastor Porter R. Graves III officiating. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Belva Wells of Newport; three sons, Frank Wells of Wilmington; Scott Wells and wife, Ami of Hillsborough; Brian Wells and wife, Jessica of Buffalo, IA; two step sons, Keith Jennette of Morehead City; Kevin Smith of Newport; three grandchildren, Ava, Jason, and Abbigail Wells; sister, Emma Kinkle of Hubert. In lieu of flowers, memorial cards may be sent to the family at 213 Lakeside Dr., Newport, NC 28570.
