June Smith

June Hunter Smith, 75, of Beaufort, passed away Friday July, 22, 2016 at her home. The family will conduct a memorial service 11:00 Am Friday at Russell Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Elmore officiating. She is survived by her husband, Dallas "Ham Man" Smith of Beaufort; three brothers, Troy Hunter and wife Kay of Beaufort; NC; IJ Hunter and wife Sally and Jack Hunter Sr all of Morehead City; five sisters, Eunice Browning and Hazel Hardesty of New Bern; Alice Hardesty of Mill Creek; Shirley Russell of Morehead City; Jeanette and husband Glen Deibert of Stedman; nephew, Jack Hunter Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Lilly Hunter; sister Edna Glancy. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Russells Creek Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 1, Beaufort, NC 28516.
