Kathryn Elizabeth Nelson

Kathryn Sewell Nelson, 91, of Beaufort, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at home. Arrangements to be determined at a later date. Mrs. Nelson was a homemaker and lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Beaufort. She was a member of the church choir for 70 years and taught the kindergarten children in Sunday School for 67 years. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her son, Edmond T. Nelson Jr. of Beaufort; four grandchildren, Edmond "Tripp" T. Nelson III; Tracy C. Nelson; Margaret 'Meg' G. Zomorodi; Chad N. Gambrell; four great grandchildren, Maura C. Nelson; Maxel O. Nelson; Arianna K. Zomorodi; and Benjamin C. Zomorodi. Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond T. Nelson Sr.; daughter, Charlotte V. Nelson; parents, John B. and Charlotte W. Sewell; and her three brothers.
