Kenneth James Carter

Kenneth "Kenny J" James Carter, 60, of Beaufort, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville with family by his side. Mr. Carter served in the US Army for over 14 years. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with military honors. He is survived by his daughter, LaQueita Carter of Charlotte, NC; son, Joshua Carter of Washington, NC; grandson, Joshua Samuel Carter, Jr.; sister, Omelia Carter of Beaufort; five Brothers, Larry Carter of Beaufort; Jessy Carter of Havelock; Joshua Carter III of Goldsboro; Johnny Carter of Louisiana; David Carter of Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Tessie Carter and sister, Diane.
