Kermit 'Ken' Walter Long Jr.

Kermit "Ken" Long Jr., 56, of Beaufort, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at his home. Mr. Long was a member of the Original Free Will Baptist Church of Beaufort. He served in Merchant Marines and traveled aboard. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Russell Creek Free Will Baptist Church in Beaufort. He is survived by his mother, Eula Noe Yates of Beaufort; step father, William Yates of Beaufort; sister, Marie Long Wheeler of Newport; aunt, Alice Mason Mace of Beaufort. He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit "Chubby" Long Sr.; and grandfather, Hubert Noe. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the family at PO Box 798, Beaufort, NC 28516.
