Obituary Larry A. "Sparky" Long Jr., 55, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport. The family will celebrate his life privately. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Jessica "CJ" Long of Raleigh; sister, Kimberly Jean Mason of Wilson, NC; and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Long and Linda Krewson; sister, Lisa Carol Shores.
