Laura 'Sissy' Lucille Fulcher

Obituary Laura "Sissy" Lucille Fulcher, 65, of Harkers Island passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Ms. Fulcher was the first female aircraft welder to work aboard Cherry Point and retired with over 26 years of service. She attended Free Grace Wesleyan Church and loved the water, boating, Cape Lookout, the mountains, life, and her family. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Free Grace Wesleyan with Pastor Clint Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Paul Landon Fulcher of Harkers Island; grandson, Paul "PJ Landon Fulcher Jr. and wife, Nikki of Otway; great grandson. Nicolas Paul Fulcher of Otway; sister, Cheryl Lewis and husband, Robert D. Lewis of Harkers Island; brother, David Rodney Fulcher and significate other, Charlotte Sherwood of Otway. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Laura Fulcher; and brother, Vernon Fulcher.
