Leonard Ray Beasley

Obituary Leonard Ray Beasley, 69, of Newport, NC passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his home. Mr. Beasley was a hard worker who always believed in putting family first. He took great pride in his carpentry and building skills, which ran through his family. His yard was one of his favorite places to be. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and riding his Harley motorcycles. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a brief service at Radzieta Funeral Home in Cape May Court House, NJ. Burial will be immediately following at Rio Grande Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Marie(Mills) Beasley of Newport; daughter, Patricia Lee Martinez of Charlotte; son, James Ray Beasley of Beaufort; son, Mark Edward Beasley of Broad Creek; daughter, Dawn Marie Bex of Broad Creek; three grandchildren and one great grandson; brother, James "Pete" Beasley of Vineland, NJ; brother, Robert Beasley of Ashville, NC; sister, Carol Eldredge of Cape May, NJ; brother, Jerry Beasley of Cape May Court House, NJ; also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Arthur "Pop" and Mary Lee "Nanny" Beasley; sister, Brenda Dilks.
