Lin Joan Larkin

Obituary Lin Larkin, 60, of Atlantic Beach, NC passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City. Lin grew up in Elmhurst, NY and graduated from St. Bartholomew grade school and John Bowne High School. She earned her Bachelors degree in Geography while living in Portland, Oregon. As a child she enjoyed summers at the Sun and Surf Beach Club in Atlantic Beach, NY. In high school she was very active in the FFA and spent her summers working on dairy farms in upstate New York. She moved to the Crystal Coast of North Carolina about fifteen years ago and enjoyed scuba diving and passionately discussing philosophy. The family will announce a memorial service at a later date. Lin is survived by her husband, Jim Brock of Atlantic Beach, NC; sister, Carol Aldridge of Georgetown, KY; niece, Erica Aldridge of Georgetown, KY; her beloved cat, Little Kahuna; and several extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Erika Trimboli.
