Obituary LouAnn Merritt Diaz, 61, of Morehead City passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Community Funeral Home of Beulaville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. She is survived by her three daughters, Niki Weddle of Potters Hill; Teresa Diaz of Potters Hill; Maria Diaz Brooks of Morehead City; son, Billy J. Wiggins of Morehead City; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Timmy Merritt of Pinehurst; Johnny Merritt of Beaufort; Randy Merritt of Beulaville; Kenny Pope of Beulaville; Tony Pope of Beulaville; two sisters, Brenda Mendez of Beulaville; Teresa Martinez of Beulaville.
