Obituary Louise Garland Ramsdell, 104, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay (Sea Level, NC) Throughout her life, Mrs. Ramsdell was a homemaker, a Deaconess at the Carolina Beach Presbyterian Church, a consulting Rosarian for the American Rose Society, and a Certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. A Memorial Service in Wilmington will be announced at a later date. Mrs. Ramsdell is survived by her three children, Nancy L. Krauth of Smyrna, GA; Malcolm C. Garland and his wife Randy of Morehead City, NC; Dr. Virginia E. Garland of Nottingham, NH and her partner Bill Hickmott; grandchildren, Chandler Garland and his wife Nancy of Harkers Island, NC; Carl Krauth III of Seattle, WA; great grandchildren, Carlie Ansel; Abigail Garland; Chandler Douglas Garland; Silas Garland; great great grandchild, Alice Ansel; niece, Bianca Angeli; nephew, Wesley Rich and their spouses of NY; and her beloved dog, Lexi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Anna Rich, her first husband of 47 years, Chandler K. Garland; second husband, Charles Ramsdell; and grandson, Nathanael Garland.
