Lynne Anne Buckley

Obituary Lynne Buckley passed away quietly on the afternoon of March 12, 2018 in Morehead City, NC after succumbing to the effects of cancer. Loved by many who got to know her through her many years of working at the Morehead City Wal-Mart, she is remembered as someone who was quick to smile and always ready to help others. She had an infectious giggle which brought a smile to anyone who heard it and she loved crossword puzzles and lottery scratch offs. A memorial service will be held to honor her life on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. Please come celebrate her life with her family that Saturday after Easter as we rejoice in her full healing and restoration! Born in 1955, the second of four children to Gerald Robert Dawson and Beverly Agnes Caswell Dawson in Ithaca, NY, she spent much of her life in upstate New York and Pennsylvania before settling in Morehead City. She is survived by her husband, Michael Buckley of Morehead City; by her mother, Beverly Dawson, currently of Wauwatosa, WI; and by her three children, Derek and Maeghan Mielke of Milwaukee, WI and Walter Eldred of Rochester, NY; as well as by her three siblings, Steven (Kathy) Dawson of Bothell, WA; Karen Dawson Mielke of Wauwatosa, WI; and Scott (Mercy) Dawson of Rock Hill, SC.
