Obituary Madge Whitley Guthrie, 88, of Harkers Island, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Mrs. Guthrie was a member of Free Grace Wesleyan Church and very active with the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Free Grace Wesleyan Church at Harkers Island with Pastor Clint Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at the Willis Family Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Jo Annette Mason of Beaufort; Marie Willis and husband, Robert Wayne of Harkers Island; four grandchildren, Justin Mason and wife, Elie of Raleigh; Hayley Mason of Raleigh; Jordan Willis and wife, Meredith of Atlantic; Kelly Willis of the home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pearl Whitley; husband, Kilby "Tommy" Guthrie; son, James Milton Hill.
