Margarethe 'Maggie' Duris

Margarethe "Maggie" Duris, 94, of Morehead City passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at her home in Morehead City. Mrs. Duris was an active member of St. Egbert Catholic Church of Morehead City; she enjoyed volunteering at the Carolina House and at Carolines Closet. She was a member to the Brandywine Garden Club and an active member of the Sports Center in Morehead City. A service will be held at a later date. She is survived by her son, Eric Duris of Poquoson, VA; son, Daniel Duris of Danbury, CT; daughter, Debbie Roman of Danbury, CT; son, Wayne W. Duris of Morehead City; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Duris.
