Obituary Marlene Harper Dunkle, 69, of Mill Creek, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. A funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Graham Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mill Creek with Pastor Bill Hooper officiating. Burial will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens in Beaufort. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Frankie N. Dunkle of Mill Creek; daughter, Melissa Littleton Carroll and husband, David of Winston Salem; step daughter, Melinda Dunkle of Newport; grandchildren, Lauren Carroll, Alexis Dunkle, Khiara Utley, Damen Utley; three brothers, Frank Harper and wife, Tammi of Newport; Ray Harper of Newport; Roger Harper and wife, Margaret of Beaufort; sister, Christine Jones of Mt. Olive; and four legged friends, Buddy and Chico. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Margaret Harper; step dad, Frank Robinson; sister, Patricia Beck; and brother, Eric Harper. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 Sunday at the church.
