Marvin Henry Fleisch

Obituary Marvin Fleisch, 71, of Newport passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Carolina East Medical Center of New Bern. Mr. Fleisch was a Lt. Commander for the Orange City Fire and Rescue Department in Florida. After retiring, he trucked the U.S. for 10 years. He was a Life Member of both the Carteret Craven Bikers Association and The Down East Coalition for American Veterans. The family will celebrate his life privately. He is survived by two sons, Justin Fleisch of CO; Bill Vassar of Greensboro, NC; and a daughter, Christina Fleisch of Casper, WY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Rosa Fleisch; two sisters, Sybil Francesconi and Margaret Douthit.
