Mary Elizabeth Mason

Mary Elizabeth Salter Mason, 92, of Atlantic, passed away Saturday December 31, 2016 at Pruitt-Health of Sea Level. Mrs. Mason was a charter member of the Wilmington First Church of the Nazarene and was a current member of Bridgeway Church of the Nazarene of Beaufort. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Bridgeway Church of the Nazarene of Beaufort with Pastor Curt Nelson and Pastor Porter Graves III officiating. Burial will follow at Atlantic Community Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Larry Monroe Mason and wife, Carol of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Gaye Mason McKeithan and husband, Lee of Davis; Leah Mason Moore and husband, Barry of Havelock; five grandchildren, Perry Lee McKeithan and wife, Cassie of Davis; Kevin Monroe Mason and wife, Joan of Nashville, TN; Kelli Dawn McCleeary and husband, Mike of Nashville, TN; Michael Anthony Gray and wife, Kristy of New Bern; Matthew Brandon Gray and fianc, Ashton McCarthy of Greenville, NC; nine great grandchildren, Zachary Ty McKeithan of Destin, FL; Aaron Levi McKeithan of Davis; Thai Monroe Mason of Nashville, TN; Noah Alan McKeithan of Davis; Austin Michael McCleeary of Nashville, TN; Aidan Nicholas McCleeary of Nashville, TN; Landon Patrick Mason of Nashville, TN; Mason Avery Gray of New Bern; Kylee Rose Gray of New Bern; brother, William Benjamin Salter and wife, Carole of Jamestown, NC; sister, Margaret Carolyn Jones of Sea Level. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Thelma Salter; husband Monroe Mason; daughter, Sharon Elizabeth Daniels; two grandsons, Timothy Scott McKeithan and Allen Ray Justice.
