Obituary Mary Gabriel Guthrie, 69, of Cedar Island, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Mary was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and loved her family very much. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Cedar Island United Methodist Church with Rev. Nelson Koonce officiating. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service. Mary is survived by her husband of 36 years, F. Craig Guthrie; daughter, Amanda Malenfant and her husband Donald; grandchildren; B. Tyler Gabriel; Maranda Hurdle; Kristen Malenfant; great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Gabriel; and sisters, Loraine Appleby; and Deborah Styron; and extended family.
