Michael Reed Hapgood

Obituary Michael Reed Hapgood, 61, of Beaufort passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern. Michael was born at Camp LeJeune to Doris and Bill Hapgood, who predeceased him. He attended Coastal Carolina Community College and East Carolina University where he met his future wife Allison Skinner Hapgood. They were married for 34 years. He enjoyed boating, football, having a good time, going to concerts and the second love of his life, our dog Molly. He is survived by his wife Allison, his sister Cherie Pinner of Spring Hope, brother Bill Hapgood of Raleigh, and brother Robert Hapgood and wife Raelene of Oviedo Florida. A gathering of friends will be held from 2:00 to 4:00PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home of Morehead City.
