Monica Sue Adams

Monica Sue Adams, 57, of Sea Level, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

She was a dedicated member of Sea Level Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed directing their yearly Vacation Bible School activities. She was a Custodian for many years at Atlantic Elementary School and loved the students that she met along the way. In her free time she enjoyed crafts and diamond art.

Monica is survived by her husband, Dennis Martin Adams, son, Travis Martin Adams, daughter, Lillian Nicole Adams, mother, Mary Fulcher, brother, Ralph Treadway, and sister, Becky Saunders. Additionally, she is survived by three grandsons; Harrison, Teddy, and Jack Adams, two step-sisters; Sherri Davis and Vickie Goodman, as well as, several nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Treadway Sr. and step-father, Lloyd Fulcher.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Sea Level Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Terry McInnis officiating. Interment will follow at Nelson Bay Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Sea Level Missionary Baptist Church.
