Nicholas 'Nick' Steven Fabre

Nicholas "Nick" Fabre, 74, of Newport passed away Monday July 4, 2016. The family will conduct a memorial service at 11:00 AM Friday August 5, 2016 at the Carteret Baptist Church, 2841 Hwy 24 of Newport. Nick served in the US Army and was retired from the Civil Service at Cherry Point. He is survived by his wife, Harriet B. Fabre of Philadelphia, PA; daughter, Nicole Fabre-Nelson and husband, Kevin of Bensalem, PA; step son, Frank Lewitt of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren: Kelly Ann Donohue, Alexia Nelson, Kyle Nelson, and Sophia Nelson; two great grandchildren, Michael and Matteo Donohue. He is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Fabre and step daughter, Nancy Donohue.
