Pamela 'Pam' Ann Osborne

October 25, 1959 — May 31, 2018

Obituary Pam was born in Arkansas in 1959, the daughter of Bonnie and Earl Duncan, and after graduating from high school worked as a nurse in Texas and Alaska. She moved to England in 1982. There she met her husband, Steve and worked as a physical therapy assistant, childrens hospice volunteer and legal secretary before gaining her law qualification to become a probate lawyer. In that role she was able to help many clients and their families work their way through the trauma of death. She loved travel and new experiences. Afraid of nothing, she tried riding camels in Africa, hot air ballooning, ultra-light piloting, and flying a helicopter. She and Steve moved to the States in 2010 and chanced upon Beaufort, which they loved and decided to settle here. Unfortunately her deteriorating health prevented her from fully enjoying the area. She is survived by her loving husband Steve, mother Bonnie, brothers Owen and Dave, her in-laws in England and multitude of friends and family. She loved animals, especially dogs, cats and horses. She was loved by everyone she met. The family will hold a private event to scatter her ashes on 13 June.
