Patricia Branch Blyler, known affectionately as Pat to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024, in Beaufort, North Carolina. Born on July 24, 1956, in Durham, NC, Pat's warmth and generosity enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clyde and Stella Branch, and her cherished nephew, Christopher Jackson. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her daughter Jayne Morgan and son-in-law Andy, along with her adored grandchildren, Lauryn and Cameron Morgan. Pat's spirit will also live on through her siblings, Donna Jackson (Ray), Cathy Knez, Teresa Stanhope (Marshall), and Gene Branch (Lisa), as well as her nieces and nephews, Madison Lightbody, Brandon Knez (Mackenzie), Morgan Lightbody, Tyler Branch, Ava Branch, and the littlest ones, great-niece, and nephew Thomas Knez and Everly Lee. Pat's life was also enriched by her relationships with her former husbands, Bill Vernon, father of her daughter Jayne, and David Blyler, both of whom survive her.

From an early stint at Duke Power, Pat's ambition and dedication led her to a fulfilling career in banking with BB&T. Her keen intellect and personable nature paved the way for her subsequent success in the real estate industry. As a respected professional with Allen Tate Realty in the Lake Norman and Greater Charlotte area, Pat's hard work and commitment were recognized with multiple accolades. Her reputation as a realtor was built on a foundation of generosity and passion, traits that endeared her to clients and colleagues alike.

Upon retiring, Pat moved to the picturesque town of Beaufort, NC, where she embraced the coastal lifestyle. The water was her haven, and she spent countless hours navigating the serene lakes and open saltwater of North Carolina. Whether she was sailing, powerboating, or kayaking, Pat was always in her element when on the water. As a strong woman of faith, she was a long-time member of Davidson United Methodist Church, and in retirement, she found fellowship and community at One Harbor Church in Beaufort.

Gardening was another of Pat's joys. With her hands in the soil, she cultivated beauty alongside her sisters, daughter, and grandchildren, creating a legacy of lush landscapes that mirrored the richness of her life. Cooking was yet another of Pat's talents, and she reveled in the simple pleasure of grilling and preparing meals for her family. Her home was the heart of many celebrations, where she hosted holidays and special events, ensuring that each gathering was filled with love and laughter.

Travel and adventure were also passions for Pat, with the Caribbean holding a special place in her heart. Her adventures at sea were not just about the destinations but also about the journey and the people she met along the way. Pat's love for photography ensured that no moment was ever forgotten, capturing the essence of her experiences and the joy of her family, which she proudly displayed on digital picture frames for daily enjoyment.

Generous, loving, and passionate – these words encapsulate the essence of Pat Blyler. She lived her life with an open heart, always ready to give of herself and share her zest for life with others. Her legacy will continue to inspire and influence everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
