Patricia Harper Beck

Patricia Harper Beck lost her battle with cancer Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the age of 67. Pat was born October 24, 1950 in Goldsboro, NC, and was a longtime resident of Beaufort, NC before moving to Texas in 2007. Her most treasured time was spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to cook, read, shop and spend time with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend with unconditional love. She will be remembered for her kindness, advice and support of others even during her year and half battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Bridgeway Church in Beaufort with Pastor Manley Rose officiating. Pat is survived by her sons, Dwain Lawrence and fianc, Crystal Nesbitt; Mike Beck and fianc, Allison Barbour; daughter and son-in-law Shellie and Brian Thomas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Ray Harper; Roger Harper and wife, Margaret; Frankie Harper and wife, Tammi; sisters, Christine Jones; Marlene Dunkle and husband, Frankie; as well as her special someone, Ron Cahow. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Bill Beck; brother Leroy (PeeWee) Harper; father, Eric Harper; and mother, Margaret Robinson.
