Patricia Spell

Obituary Patricia M. Spell, 68, of Newport, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Carolina East Medical Center of New Bern. Patricia was known for her love of animals, plants, drawing, and for her love of kids, everyone called her mom. But most of all she loved God and saw the good in everyone. The family will celebrate her life privately. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Spell of Newport; son, Edward C. Spell Sr. and wife, Tammy of Newport; son, Greg Spell and wife, Catherine of Havelock; daughter, Crystal Morgan of Newport; six grandchildren: Victoria A. Sides, Clayton Spell II, Jasmine McCoo, Colin Spell, EJ Morgan, Demetrius Morgan; three nieces, Carol West Whitley of Ernul, NC; Sarah Nelson of Havelock; Kim McCausley Johnson of Clayton; and her beloved fur babies. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nora McCausley and her brother, William Ervin McCausley.
