Peggy Ann Cottle

Peggy Lancaster Cottle, 84, of Cape Carteret passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. She was loved by all that knew her. The family would like to thank her caregivers, friends and Hospice of Carteret Co. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, June 12, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Swansboro with Rev. Lawrence O. Harper officiating. Mrs. Cottle is survived by her husband of sixty-six and a half years, J.B. Cottle of the home; daughter, Sharyn Roberts and husband, David of Bahama, NC; grandsons, Matthew Roberts; Brian Roberts, both of Bahama, NC; Cole Wilkins and wife, Emily of Swansboro, NC; great-grandchildren, Emma Wigley of Wilmington, NC; Misha Roberts of Bahama, NC; Alex Roberts of Bahama, NC; Lily Williams of Swansboro, NC; sister Margaret Andrews and husband, Bill Sr. of Garner, NC; sister, Shirley Strickland of Durham, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cottle was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Vesta Lancaster; and daughter, Lisa Cottle.
