Philip Schofield

Phil Schofield, 68, of Newport, NC passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport. Mr. Schofield was a US Marine Corps Veteran and worked many years as a truck driver. The family will celebrate his life privately. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janice Schofield of the home; three brothers, Bobby Schofield of Kinston, NC; Jimmy Schofield; and Johnny Schofield both of Beaufort, NC; two sons, Matthew "Joe" Katen of Mill Creek, NC; and Tim Lindquist (Michelle) of Mt. Home, AR; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
