Raymond John Snare Jr.

Raymond J. Snare, 84, of Newport, passed away Thursday August 18, 2016 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Mr. Snare retired from the US Marine Corps as a Chief Warrant Officer 2. He also was a past president of the Carteret County Humane Society. The family will celebrate his life privately. He is survived by his wife, Kazuko "Katy" Snare of Newport and sister, Eva Ringer of PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Gladys Snare and a brother, Jerry E. Snare.
