Raymond Paul Lindner

Raymond "Ray" Lindner, 70, of Indian Beach, NC, formerly of Geneva, NY, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 surrounded by his family. Raymond was lovingly referred to as "Papa" by his grandchildren. Raymond was a proud US Air Force veteran and Buffalo Bills fan who enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family. In recent years, he loved retired life on the beach with an ice-cold Coors Light and the occasional Jack and Coke while relaxing with his wife and friends, Keith and Earlene Markovitch. A Remembrance Celebration will be held at the Geneva American Legion (1115 Lochland Rd, Geneva, NY 14456) on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:30pm with light refreshments. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen (Kirby) Lindner also of Indian Beach, NC; daughters, Melissa Legg of Geneva, NY; and Marcie (Lisa Masci) Lindner of Columbus, OH; son, Michael (Emily) Lindner of Wake Forest, NC; four grandchildren, Bretlyn, Mackenzie, Owen and Aysia; sister, Linda Cattieu of Webster, NY; brothers in law, Bob Cattieu of Newark, NY; and James Kirby of Tulsa, OK; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Margaret Lindner of Clyde, NY; and his loving dog, Lulu.
