Rhonda Kay Pavel, 55, of Newport passed away Friday February 24, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare in New Bern. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday March 5, 2017 at the home of William Ray McCausley, 397 Bear Creek Rd, Hubert, NC. Ms. Pavel is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Goodwin, husband Ben, of Hubert; Memory Muench, husband Mark, of Newport; Cassie Lechner, husband Matt of New York; son, John Pavel Jr., wife Kristin, of Hubert; eight grandchildren; mother, Kay Cultler of Swansboro; grandmother, Lottie of Richlands; three brothers, William Dave McCausley, William Ray McCausley both of Hubert; Willie Edward McCausley Jr. of Swansboro; and special friend, Mike Stanfill of Havelock. Ms. Pavel was preceded in death by her father, Jim Taylor.
