Richard Arlen Kittrell

Richard Kittrell, 82, of Crab Point, passed away Monday February 15, 2016 at Carteret Health Care. Mr. Kittrell retired from the NC State Port as a Longshoreman and was a member of the Longshoreman Association. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Crab Point Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Erlene Kittrell of Crab Point; son, Adrian Kittrell of MS; two daughters, Debi Davis of Jacksonville; Ruth Crockett of MS; six grandchildren, Richie, Jeanette, Jennifer, Tiffany, Walt, and Jakob; four great grandchildren; he is also survived by his only living sister of 14 siblings. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie Jean Kittrell and son, Dennis Kittrell.
