Obituary Robert Andrea Reels was born on December 3, 1985 and was raised in Beaufort, NC. He was called to his peaceful eternal rest on October 9, 2021 at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern, NC. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Beaufort with Rev. C.O. Donald officiating. Burial will follow at Reels Chapel Cemetery in Merrimon. He decided to dedicate his life to the Lord and became a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He also served as a member of the youth choir. Robert was reared in the Carteret County School System and obtained a certificate Horticulture at Carteret Community College. He was a Production Operator at GF Linamore in Asheville, NC. He also worked for Adams Tree Services in Beaufort, NC. Robert was a man of exquisite style and fashion and he had a smile that would light up any room. To know him was to love him. Robert loved watching the game of football with the fellas and his favorite team was the Denver Broncos. A couple of his childhood nicknames were "Bootman" and "Peanut". He was preceded in death by his first love and the mother of his child, Krystal Tripp. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Reels; daughter, Kryah Mianjel Reels, Fiance, Amy Krantz; Grandmother, Odessa Reels; Uncles, David Reels, Jr. (Lakesha), Jeremy Reels (Bernadette); Aunts, Sedricka Courman (Theodore), Beth Henry, Schellney Reels, Melanie Reels; Great-Uncle, George W. Henry; Great-Aunts, Rev. Annie Henry, Louvenia Henry, Pearl Henry, and host of other relatives and friends.
