Obituary Robert A. McCabe, 75, of Beaufort, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Island Road Baptist Church in Straits with Pastor Charles Tyler officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church. He is survived by his wife Helene ONeal McCabe of Beaufort; three sons, Robert Lloyd McCabe of Newport; Michael Andrew McCabe of Columbia, SC; Clifford Darrell McCabe of Morehead City; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Turner McCabe of Charleston, SC.
