Robert Lane Nelson

Robert Lane Nelson, 66, passed away on April 1, 2016 in his home town of Atlantic, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife Arlane; his daughters Laura Horne and Jessie West and her husband Tommy; his grandchildren Shelby Horne, Jaret and Joshua West; his sister Ellen and her husband Bob Greening; sister Darlene Grose; his brother John and wife Dana Nelson; his brother Kyle and wife Sonya Nelson; his stepchildren Brandon Brewer and Kayla Becton; his eight step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. To celebrate his life, the family will host a memorial service at the Scout Hut located at the Methodist Church on Atlantic April 3, 2016 from 7 to 9pm. All are welcome to attend. Robert was a dear father, husband, brother, and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
