Obituary Robert 'Skip' L. Wright Jr., 68, of Cape Carteret, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and had a career in carpentry. The family will celebrate his life at a later date. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Wright of Cape Carteret; three children, Joshua L. Poole, Jillian L. Maston , and Katy M. Poole; three grandchildren, Micah, Rowan and Judah; brothers, Mark, Brad and Chris Wright; sister, Leslie Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L.
