Romona 'Lil Chelle' Michelle Godwin

Romona "Lil Chelle" Michelle Moore Godwin, 41, of Gloucester, NC, passed away Wednesday December 7, 2016 at Crystal Coast Hospice House. A funeral service will be held Sunday December 11, 2016 at 2:00pm at Free Grace Wesleyan Church on Harkers Island with Pastor Clinton Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Vergie Mae Cemetery. Mrs. Godwin was a bank teller for many years at Wachovia and Wells Fargo. She was a lifelong member and Youth Leader of Free Grace Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Godwin is survived by her husband of 25 years, John Godwin of the home; daughter, Brittany Nicole Godwin; son, Shawn Christopher Godwin both of Gloucester; sister, Carol Anne Guthrie of Harkers Island; brother, Walter Bryan Moore of Otway; brother, William Hedrick Moore of Beaufort. Mrs. Godwin was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nora (Burner) Moore. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
