Rose Marie Gillikin

Rose Marie Lewis Gillikin, 85, of Otway, passed away Sunday June 12, 2016 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Harkers Island. She loved her church, her family, and her country. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Harkers Island with Bishop B.L. Marcom officiating. Burial will follow at Armecia Lewis Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Gillikin, Jr. of Otway; son, Kim Lawrence and wife, Joy of Otway; daughter, Heidi Gillikin and husband, Paul of Otway; grandchildren, Hope Tyler of Cape Cod, MA; Gavin Gillikin, Trista Guthrie, Dylan Gillikin all of Otway; great grandchildren, Aiden Tyler, of Cape Cod, MA; Bradley Guthrie, Grayson Gillikin, Bailey Guthrie all of Otway; Cole Tyler of Cape Cod, MA; Guyon Gillikin, Winsor Gillikin, Emersyn Gillikin all of Otway. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Hallis Lawrence; parents, Joe Lane and Virgie Lewis; brother, Arvon Lewis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday at the Church.
