Obituary Sammie Fenderson Jr., 72, of Morehead City, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at his home in Morehead City. The family will celebrate his life at a later date. He is survived by his son, Aaron D. Hardesty of Beaufort; daughter, Janie S. Hardesty of Cary; grandson, Christopher Simmons of Cary; granddaughter, Nicola Simmons of Cary; and brother, Billy Fenderson of Mobile, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammie and Helen Fenderson Sr; and brother, Johnny Fenderson.
