Shane Elliott Moldenhauer, 36, of Atlantic, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
Shane was a true Commercial Fisherman and could be found on the water with Melissa and his fur girl Sissy or his brother-in-law Harley and special niece Emerson doing what he loved the best, fishing, shrimping, and crabbing. He enjoyed hunting when he could go; it didn't matter whether it was duck or deer.
Shane also had a passion for playing, watching, and coaching baseball. He loved helping his two boys, Brantley, and Brody and also his nephew Ethan learn the fundamentals and then grow in the sport. He was his Niece Emerson's "throw partner" when she was practicing softball at the house. She loved for her Uncle Shane to throw with her. Shane was one of the most polite people you would have ever met. He always lent a helping hand to anyone in need because helping others made him happy. He loved seeing people happy and it was what he lived for.
Shane loved to smile and was extremely kind. Melissa, Brantley, and Brody were his greatest blessings in this world, and he was working so hard to try and make things better for them all.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Hunting Quarter Church in Atlantic with Pastor Wayne Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 5:45 PM Monday at the church.
