Obituary Sheila Reed Loud, 66, of Beaufort, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at her home surround by family. Mrs. Loud was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Hubert Judon and a member of the United Sisters of Christ under the leadership of First Lady Sheila Judon.She retired after many years with environmental services at Carteret Health Care. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday at Faith Tabernacle of Praise Church of Beaufort with Bishop Donald Crooms Sr. officiating entombment will follow at the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her two sons, Russell L. Reed and wife, Lisa of Durham, NC; Albert R. Loud and wife, Quiana of New Bern; 12 grandchildren, Erica, Amanda, Marquisia, Julian, Ashley, Jaylah, Justin, Brian, Joshua, Alana, Aliyah, Alexandria and a great granddaughter, Aaliyah; three sisters, Minister Diana Reed Tootle and husband, Johnny of Beaufort; Merenda Reed of Havelock; Deborah Johnson of Beaufort; two brothers, Willie Reed Jr. and wife, Bertie of Harlowe; Frankie Reed and wife, Tracy of Beaufort; daughter in law, Nicole Reed of Apex, NC; step mother, Rena Reed of Beaufort. Preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Willie and Rev. Essie Reed; son, Steve Reed; sister, Brenda Smith.
