Sherwood 'Buck' Allen Lewis Jr.

Obituary Sherwood "Buck" Allen Lewis Jr., 62, of Otway passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Duke University Hospital. Buck was the Chief Engineer for Vane Brothers of Baltimore, MD. Buck loved hunting, mud bogging and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Otway Christian Church with Pastor Jack Mumford officiating. Everyone is asked to please bring and wear a mask. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Lewis of Otway; daughter, Jutta Lee Emory and husband, Ryan of Newport; son, James Griffiths and wife, Ali-Dee of New Bern; daughter, Lacey Lewis Roberts of Otway; five grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Lawrence Lewis and dad, Sherwood Lewis Sr.; sister, Joy Pittman.
