Stanley Ray Vincent Sr.

Obituary Stanley Ray Vincent Sr., 85, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. Services for Mr. Vincent will be announced at a later date. Stanley was born August 2, 1933 to Theodore and Lilian Vincent. He started his years of hard work at 9 years old on a dairy farm and graduated from West Brooklyn High School in West Brooklyn, Illinois. At age 19, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge he worked as a machinist and a heavy equipment operator before retiring at the age of 75. Stanley was loved by many and will be missed by all. He never met a stranger and had a personality that could make anyone laugh. He very much enjoyed spending time with all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Stanley is survived by his children, Pamela St. Louis of Jacksonville, NC; Stanley (Charlotte) Vincent Jr of Burnsville, MS; Denise (Wayne) Carter of Sandwich, IL; Cindy Vincent of Earlville, IL; Vista (Jay) Pittman of Salter Path, NC; Mike (Ruth) Vincent of Ottawa, IL; Connie (Lonnie) RePinne of Marseilles, IL; Terri Lynn Vincent of Orange, IL; two step children, Deana (James) Donovan of Colorado Springs, CO; and Michael Marcantel of Orange, TX; numerous grandchildren; a large number of great-grandchildren; and son-in-law Larry Humbers. Stanley was preceded in death by his first wife, Marguerite Koetz Vincent; second wife, Phyllis Vincent; daughter, Debra Humbers; granddaughter, Sheila Dawn Washburn; brothers, Irvin and Donnie; and his sister, Marion.
