Stevie Alexander Hoyle, Jr.

Stevie Hoyle, 51, of Emerald Isle, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his home surrounded by family. Stevie had a long career in the U.S Army having served in the 82nd Airborne and as a Special Forces Green Beret. He loved life, his family, his many friends, had a great passion for deep sea fishing and was a true blue Carolina Tar Heel fan. The family will hold a celebration of Stevies life on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 7:00 PM on the Bogue Inlet Pier in Emerald Isle, NC. A candlelight memorial will take place at 8:30 PM on Friday, August 18, 2017 on the beach next to the Bogue Inlet Pier. Mr. Hoyle is survived by his wife, Diana Lovett Hoyle of the home; daughter, Crysta Lynn Hoyle of Chesapeake, VA; step-daughter, Katlyn Gray of Emerald Isle, step-son, Darien DeLay of the home; granddaughter, Alaina Lynn Gordan of Chesapeake, VA; mother, Lynn Logan Hoyle of Charlotte; brother, Terry Hoyle of Wilmington; sister, Kathy Hoyle Golden of Ft. Mill, SC.
