Obituary Terry G. Tyson, 69, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Croatan Ridge Nursing Center of Newport. Terry served in the US Army and retired from civil service aboard Cherry Point. The family will celebrate her life privately. She is survived by her brother, John Earl Tyson Jr. and wife, Wanda of St. Petersburg, FL; Jacqueline L. Walker of Newport; three nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Earl Tyson and Betty June Tyson.
