Obituary Terry Woodrow Holt, 81, of Morehead City, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at home surrounded by family. Terry served in the U.S. Marine Corps for over 14 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. After the military, he worked at NADEP aboard Cherry Point MCAS and retired after thirty-nine and a half years. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Bayview Cemetery in Morehead City with Pastor Jack Mumford officiating. Terry is survived by his wife of 24 years, Edith Holt of the home; daughters, Suzanne Holt Druger and her husband Robert of Manilus, NY; Judy Holt Hipple and her husband David of Lititz, PA; step-sons, John Riggs of New Bern, NC; Carl Griffith of Hillsboro, NC; step-daughter, Jenny Griffith of Raleigh, NC; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Holt and his wife Dorothy of Spring Dale, AR; and first wife, Ruth Holt of NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Dessie Holt; brother, James David Holt; sister Darlene Holt; step-son Charles Timothy Riggs; and wife, Betty Marie Holt. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to Otway Christian Church, 242 Gillikin Rd. Beaufort, NC 28516.
