Thomas 'Chip' Lambert

Obituary Chip Lambert, 62, of Beaufort, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Chip was employed by Cella Ford in New Bern. Over the years he had worked at many dealerships but the staff at Cella really cared for Chip and treated him like family. Chip was known for his love of Bruce Springsteen, the Atlanta Braves and Tarheel basketball. He loved animals and had many pets that were waiting for him across that rainbow bridge. He will be missed by so many, near and far. The family will celebrate his life privately. He is survived by his fiance, Janet Sweeney of Beaufort; daughter, Leah Lacey and husband, Brad and their children: Hudson and Pierce of San Antonio, TX; stepdaughter, Megan Myo and husband, Ye and their daughter, Layla of Thousand Oaks, CA; stepson, Owen Sweeney and his daughters, Sydney and Brooklyn of Thousand Oaks, CA; cousin, Barry Carver of Charlotte, NC; and best friend, Carl Church of Waxhaw, NC.
